Mariam El Amin, Ph.D., SLP

Postdoctoral Researcher, University of South Carolina

Mariam El Amin (she/her) is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of South Carolina. She is based in the South Carolina Research on Language and Literacy Lab (PI: Suzanne Adlof). Mariam clinically trained as a speech-language pathologist in Lebanon. In 2017, she was awarded the Fulbright scholarship to pursue her master's degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2023, she received her doctorate degree from the University of Georgia. 

Mariam believes providing open access to research findings to all stakeholders such as clinicians, policymakers, and science communicators, therefore, she co-founded CSDisseminate and she is volunteer collaborator with OpenCSD.
